Privacy Policy for SpendStreak

Besi Works ("we", "us", "our") developed the SpendStreak app ("the App") as a free, gamified personal expense tracker. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our App.

Information You Enter

SpendStreak lets you log expenses, income, transfers, accounts, categories, budgets, and recurring transactions. All of this data is stored locally on your device only, using a local database. We do not operate any server, and this data is never transmitted to us or to any third party by the App itself. You can permanently delete all of this data at any time from Settings → "Clear All Data".

Advertising

The App displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob on some screens (Settings, Reports, and History). To do this:

• The App uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent, where required by law (e.g., for users in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, or certain US states), before showing personalized ads.
• Google and its advertising partners may collect and use device identifiers (such as your advertising ID) and other data to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's Privacy & Terms and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
• You can review or withdraw your ad consent choices at any time from within the consent management options presented by the App, where applicable in your region.
• If you do not consent (where consent is required), the App will show only non-personalized ads.

Permissions Used

• Internet access — required to request and display ads.
• Notifications — used only to remind you locally about recurring bills/income you've set up in the App; these reminders are generated and scheduled entirely on your device.

The App does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, or files, and does not require you to create an account or sign in.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because all of your financial data stays on your device, uninstalling the App or using the in-app "Clear All Data" option removes it completely. We have no copy of it and cannot restore it for you.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
